Terms and Conditions
BILLING / REFUND POLICY INFORMATION – I understand that after my free demo and consultation if I decide to have Rockbridge build my site I will provide a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the associated plan’s total Set Up fee. This deposit acts as my authorization for Rockbridge to start building my website and provisioning servers which will take place immediately once payment clears. The balance will be paid upon completion of the website or service. No website or service will be started prior to receipt of this deposit. See our pricing page.
TERMS: I understand and agree that if I decide to purchase after my free demo, the associated Server and Support agreement associated with our Gold, Silver, Bronze or any Custom Packages or Projects, are agreements for a 1 year contractual term, duration renewable annually. I can choose to be invoiced either monthly or annually on a recurring basis for that 12 month term. (Rockbridge applies a published discount if you prefer to pay annually – any payment discounts are subject to change but are protected for a period of at least one year). I also understand and agree that all plans in effect beyond the 30 day trial period are based on an annual pricing renewal (paid monthly or annually) and the overall program can only be canceled after one full 12 month payment cycle. Prices are protected from increase for 3 years as long as I remain a Rockbridge Services, LLC customer. See package specifics for the major feature differences between packages.
DOMAIN NAMES: I understand and agree that Domain Name Registrations which I order through Rockbridge belong to me, the customer, and can be transferred to other vendors. I also understand that Domain Name registration is based on annual renewals and as such are not refundable once I have asked Rockbridge to register a domain name for me. (Domain Names are only INCLUDED FREE if you are setting up a new website with Rockbridge Services and you are also using Rockbridge Hosting as your website hosting service.) For a previous domain name that I own, I understand that to be included free it must be transferred to Rockbridge Hosting as the Domain Name Registrar. The yearly domain name registration fee will then be paid by Rockbridge but only if I maintain a Gold, Silver, Bronze or Custom website agreement, or a website hosting / support agreement with Rockbridge Services, LLC or Rockbridge Hosting in good standing.
LIMITED REFUND POLICY: Gold / Silver / Bronze / Custom Project Packages:
I understand and agree that Gold / Silver / Bronze and Custom packages all require a set up and design fee with a limited 30 day refund. ( See Refunds: Set Up Fees below.) I also understand and agree that a Non-refundable Deposit equal to at least 50% of the Total Set Up Fee of the selected package or project will be required before Rockbridge can provision server hosting, domain name setup and starting work on the custom design of my website.
Note: Our “Website Creator Series” do NOT require setup fees as they are complete Do-It-Yourself (DIY) websites using standard templates only.
REFUNDS: SET UP FEES
I understand and agree that if I should change my mind or decide to cancel my purchase for any reason after providing Rockbridge the go ahead to build my site it must be done in writing and no later than within the first 30 days after my site is live. Upon such notification Rockbridge will provide me a limited 50% refund of the corresponding package’s Total Set Up Fee only. This limited refund policy is required to cover the design, web server programming, provisioning and setup costs which Rockbridge incurs after I have given Rockbridge approval to go ahead and provision servers and designers to build my website after my demo.
REFUNDS: MONTHLY / ANNUAL SUPPORT BILLING
I understand and agree that RECURRING monthly server and support payments can only be canceled by me in writing. I may only cancel after my first initial 12 months has elapsed. Server hosting, domain names, support and set up fees are not refundable except as noted above. All plans are based on Annual Renewal terms (although we can invoice monthly if you prefer). All monthly and annual recurring billing is for a 12 month minimum commitment regardless of my payment plan. Rockbridge will include price protection for 3 years on all my Monthly and Annual Support Plans ! (You can’t beat that!)
In summary, I understand that Monthly or Annual Support Plan renewals can be canceled at any time but only in writing and only after the first 12 months of service. No retroactive refunds are permitted.
CUSTOM WEBSITE DESIGN (WITHOUT HOSTING OR ROCKBRIDGE SUPPORT SERVICES)
No monthly fees will be applied — however I am required to purchase server hosting services supporting WordPress. This may be purchased separately either from Rockbridge or another website hosting / website support provider that supports WordPress. Our current Time and Material Rates will apply for any requested custom work, or support you may request be done on your site after you sign off on the initial website installation. (See pricing for Time and Material rates as well as stand alone Support and Service Plans. )
By purchasing any product or service on this website I have agreed to the above Terms and Conditions.
My check out acts as my formal approval to the above agreement.
