Because the FTC seems to think you are an idiot and you can’t figure out that certain online advertising may produce income for the website in which it is on, we have to create this insulting disclosure policy regarding relationships with third parties.  Anyhow, here is your complete FTC disclosure for Rockbridge Designs:

1. If you see any type of advertising banner on this site, and you click on it, please assume we will / may make money (i.e commission). Shocking…I know.

2. If you see any type of text link to some other website, and you click on it, please assume we will / may make money / commission if you purchase something there.

3. We are not paid cash for reviews or given free products in exchange for a review. However, if we do review a product or service on this site, please assume that if it is accompanied by a text link or advertising banner which if you click on it, we will or may make money.

4. Any testimonials you see on this site concerning Rockbridge Designs are from our clients, visitors or readers. We do not pay for testimonials, but if you see a comment from a professional blogger or website surfer with a link in their comment, please assume there is a text link or advertising banner somewhere back on their site which if you click on it, you guessed it…someone may make money.

Editorial: Personally, it’s my belief that mega government babysitting and hand holding has become part of a new “nanny state” social norm, in this case babysitting your intelligence while you browse the web. The fact that website owners often sell and promote products and services for a small fee needs to be disclosed on every website is a sad commentary on the future of the internet and the current direction of our society in general.  Warning – The Surgeon General says that surfing the web may be hazardous to your intelligence.
